PRESS RELEASE: OUT NOW: New William Brittelle & Jordan Munson


New Amsterdam Records is excited to announce the full release of William Brittelle's Without Chasms and Jordan Munson's Until My Last. Both records were first released exclusive through the New Amsterdam Bandcamp subscription series, and are now available on all digital platforms.

Additionally, Brittelle's next album, Spiritual America, will see its West Coast premiere at Los Angeles's Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, Aug. 5 as part of an evening also featuring a collaboration between Bon Iver and contemporary dance company TU DanceSpiritual America will be performed by an eight-piece chamber ensemble including indie rock duo Wye Oak, who contribute vocals and percussion throughout, and members of the Grammy-nominated and NYC-based orchestra Metropolis Ensemble. Information and tickets available here.

The work was also recently featured by The Nation's David Hajdu, who wrote: "William Brittelle has drawn from classical music, punk rock, and electronica to produce music that is at once free-ranging and a thrill to experience." It will be released in early 2019 on New Amsterdam featuring Wye Oak, the full Metropolis Ensemble orchestra, and Brooklyn Youth Chorus.
